New Home: Hospitals

I swear between my two kids I might as well just move into the hospital. Right now Ethan has a Holter Monitor on. He only has to wear it 48 hours, but you try asking a two year old NOT to touch all the wires connected to him and not to press buttons on the recorder. I am pretty sure we will have to go back, yet again, to try the other monitor they talked about. Though they did not say exactly how it worked. I hope when all is done, my kids will be healthy and seem like their preemie-ness never even happened. They keep surprising everyone that works with them, so the hopes are high =]

In other news. I will be going to California June 1st thought the 11th for sure. The dates are set and the schedule is made. Jordan is coming with me to help out with the kids on the drive and as we visit all my family and friends. It is going to be such a big help and I could not be more thankful. My dad has really helped me out this past month. Bought me a BBQ which turned out to be more helpful then I realized at first. Ethan will eat anything that comes off the BBQ! So now I can get him to eat a ton and gain some weight on his skinny body. He is also helping me on gas money to get out to cali and if I ever make up my mind, helping pay for a portable dishwasher! I do have to say, my family is the best family out there. =]

I'll be having a DIY blog post up soon. So look out for that if it interests you or you even read this thing haha

love to you all

VISITORS!!

So I have my dad and step-mommy visiting. The kids and I both are having a ton of fun! We have gone out to eat, the zoo and today we will be going to the bosque. I love having family here and being able to do something out of our routine. We had a BBQ party at my sister and brother in law's yesterday. It was great to be able to visit with family and just watch the kids run around the house and yard. The twins are really enjoying themselves. Two new people they can con into holding them all day!! They have been so good too. Barely any fits being thrown and taking naps like a pro. I could not be more proud of my kids...well maybe... I am pretty stinking proud of them every day for being the best two year old's I have ever met or known.
Sitting here with coffee in hand, watching my kids play(Ethan doing is stunt man action moves, too cute!) is one of the best feelings in the world to me. There really is nothing better than family and I would never ask for another one :) We may be dysfunctional, but we are proud of it and not nearly as bad as some families i have met.
I will be very sad when my daddy and step-mommy have to leave Saturday. OH, but come June and I will get to see them again! and every other family member i can while in Cali. So for anyone who wants to see me and the kids, let me know. I will be coming in the beginning before i graduate school. Once i graduate, I have to go get a job and will only ever have the weekend off at first.
Also, let me know if you guys even read this bloggy thing. I do not really see the interest in someone like me having one since I never say much, but it is a nice little journal to have. If you want me to blog more and try to make them more interesting I can try or if you want me to stop i can do that as well haha
Hope you all have a great rest of the week!
Love you!

I SUCK AT BLOGGING!!!

So I was going to try and do the whole blogging thing.... yeah, that lasted about 2 or 3 days and then I stopped for 10 months. Biggest blogger fail!
A lot has happened in the months I have been away. We celebrated another Easter, my kids turned two, I turned 21, I have changed the way my house looks about 7 or 8 times now and I am truly happy with the way my life is going. I am almost done with school and hopefully that all goes to plan. The kids are doing wonderful in their therapy and should be out by the end of the year. (yay kids!) My best friend is pregnant with a baby boy. I am so excited to be an auntie again. Should be taking a trip out to California and having a ton of fun. My life has changed so much in the last year it's unbelievable to me sometimes. I really hope this trend continues and I know if i just let God take control I wont have anything to worry about.
oh yeah, I never thought this would happen, but I have started to become just as crafty as my mother and sisters. I thought that gene had passed over me, but apparently it just need inspiration and time to bloom. Well lets see how long this run of blogging is going to last ;)
